Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Kochi to Munnar
On arrival at Kochi Railway Station or Airport, you will be picked up and driven to Munnar, a scenic journey of approximately 140 km taking 4–5 hours. En route, enjoy the stunning views of Valara and Cheeyapara Waterfalls and visit the aromatic Spice Garden. For those interested, optional activities include Adventure Park rides like zip line, giant swing, Bali swing, as well as visits to the Handloom and Chocolate Factory. After sightseeing, relax and unwind at your hotel in Munnar with an overnight stay.
Day 02 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the picturesque city of Munnar. Visit the vibrant Rose Garden, enjoy boating at Mattupetty Dam, and explore the Tea Factory and Museum. Stop at the scenic Photo Point, Elephant Park, and Echo Point. In the afternoon, head to Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and enjoy a soft trek amidst breathtaking hill views. Return to your hotel or resort in Munnar for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 03 : Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Thekkady, the gateway to Periyar National Park. Enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake, offering a chance to spot wildlife like elephants, deer, and birds amid lush forests. Experience an elephant encounter with rides, bathing, and feeding. In the evening, witness traditional cultural performances including Kathakali and Kerala’s martial arts. Return to your hotel or resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey, the backwater capital of India. On arrival, check in to your AC deluxe houseboat where lunch will be served. Enjoy a serene backwater cruise, passing ancient Chinese fishing nets, blooming water lilies, paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples, coconut groves, lagoons, lakes, and canals. Dinner will be served onboard, followed by an overnight stay in the houseboat.
